A new warm and welcoming show residence
A grand three-bedroom apartment at The OWO Residences by Raffles
‘Restrained refinement’ was our guiding principle – blending warm neutrals with soft textures, and sculptural forms with welcoming silhouettes. To this we added expressive paintings, hand-thrown ceramics, and an abundance of bespoke furniture and cabinetry – all designed inhouse and handcrafted by British artisans.
This is a feel-good home that celebrates craftsmanship, creativity and comfort; a sensory sanctuary that compels you to inspect artwork, touch surfaces and nestle into soft furnishings.

Formally informal
The living room packs a punch. Its vast windows, lofty ceiling and all-round big dimensions make it perfect for both formal entertaining and cosy lounging.
The formal end features cool tones and elegant profiles – consoles with long, tapering legs, a liquid-black coffee table, an arresting piece of monochromatic art, and a handmade glass chandelier that resembles sheets of splintered glass.
On the other side, a deep-seated L-shaped sofa and two plump, russet-coloured ottomans face a giant wall of joinery. We designed this piece to incorporate shelves, cupboards, a marble cocktail bar, a leather-wrapped library ladder, and a smartly concealed TV.

Judicious and delicious
Our carefully pared back dining room allows key elements to sing: A bespoke marble table with swirls of blue, ochre and moss green. Custom chairs upholstered in fabrics of plush buff velvet and geometric jacquard weave. A sculptural pendant shaped like an unfurled petal. A black-streaked, hand-knotted wool and silk rug. And a whimsical painting of epicurean revellers, by British artist Jack Penny.

Take centre stage
Shaped like an amphitheatre with dimensions to match, the principal bedroom strikes a dramatic chord. But like any good drama, character is key. So we covered the wall that intersects the circular space in panels of pale suede and organically-patterned velvet. Then we added lots of quietly luxurious furniture – bespoke pieces we designed inhouse – including a king size velvet bed, burlwood bedsides, a bean-shaped dressing table with fluted legs, and two lavishly large swivel chairs covered in crushed velvet. It’s a charismatic look that gives Five Star hotel vibes with a homely twist.

Different strokes
The painting above the bed, by acclaimed British artist Lee Johnson, informed several features in the first guest bedroom. The strident brushwork inspired the textures – from the gentle ridges in the wallpaper to the deep furrows in the ceramic lamps. While the russet hues of the bark and earth led us to incorporate a mix of rusty and chestnutty colours in weaves, fringes and leather trims. These strong accents radiate a cosy warmth against the pale, neutral base.

Walk in the park
In the second guest bedroom, a large olive tree accompanies a botanical landscape painting filled with beetroot reds, emerald greens, gooseberry yellows, soft mauves and pale cyans. In turn, these colours are reflected in teal and burnished-orange cushions, an olive-green throw, a dark-oak dressing table, and a bespoke, bentwood-framed headboard with panels of blue-grey multi-yarn weave. It’s a light and bosky space, refreshing and calm.
